Cornerstone Fellowship began as a Bible study in 1985. As the study increased in size and the fellowship between its participants grew closer, it was decided the best course of action would be to establish a church. The church met in several buildings in those early years finally purchasing an old ceramic shop in 1988. That ceramic shop has now gone through three expansions and renovations with a fourth being developed.
Currently the congregation has approximately 180 people in 65 families. Our steady growth necessitates a fourth building expansion. We are a young congregation with energy and enthusiasm toward service to others, especially those in our community.
Cornerstone is not affiliated or associated with any organization or denomination. Sound doctrine is important to us but it is not our only focus; Christian character and allegiance to Jesus and His Kingdom are emphasized. We believe that the expression of a life submitted to the lordship of Jesus will be service to others. The leadership of Cornerstone is constantly looking for opportunities for its congregants to use their gifts and talents in that "service to others".
